This two-and-a-half-hour workshop aims to bring awareness to the challenges deaf people encounter in their day to day lives.
Full Description
One in six of the adult population in the UK is affected by hearing loss. Taught by an experienced tutor from this community, you will cover:
- Hearing loss and what this can mean
- Signs of hearing loss
- How to get someone’s attention
- Lip reading awareness and games
- Fingerspelling and basic BSL i.e. greetings

This course is for anyone over the age of 18 who wants to learn.
