The content covered in our MBA Healthcare Management will allow you to explore the role of the leader, the importance of strategy development, and the challenges for professional decision-making in the ever-changing health sector.


In the MBA healthcare management, you'll consider the issues faced by professionals, managers and leaders in health and social care services worldwide. Drawing on management theory and cutting-edge research we’ll introduce you to topics such as organisational behaviour, entrepreneurship, innovation, health economics and health information systems.


You’ll examine the business skills of finance, accounting and marketing in the context of healthcare provision and learn techniques for making revenue and capital decisions.


Of central importance to this Masters degree is the Major Project. This allows you to address a research question relating to healthcare management or health informatics, using the research skills and knowledge you’ve gained during the course.

Entry Requirements

  • A first degree, with honours, at a minimum final classification of Lower Second (2:2) or equivalent.
  • If English is not your first language you will be expected to demonstrate a certificated level of proficiency of at least IELTS 6.5 (Academic level) or equivalent English Language qualification, as recognised by Anglia Ruskin University.
