Pesticide Application - PA1

Overview

Learn how to prepare pesticides with our one-day course at Writtle College, accredited by NPTC. It's a Foundation Module that prepares you for further courses, which focus on pesticide use and application.


Full Description

The Pesticide Application – PA1 course is necessary for anyone involved with pesticide use, and a pre-requisite for further study. Topics covered include:


  • legislation
  • pesticide preparation
  • record keeping
  • environmental safety.

Calculations and interpreting information is an integral part of the training.


Having completed the one-day course at Writtle College, you'll take an online multiple choice test (33 questions) with City & Guilds NPTC.


The course fee includes equipment use, NPTC registration and assessment.


Who Should Attend?

Our Pesticide Application – PA1 course is suitable for anyone involved with pesticide use. You will need to have completed it in order to join further courses, such as Pesticide Application – PA6.

In compliance with regulations and directives from the Health & Safety Executive, you must have a good standard of written English to be able to read, understand and interpret regulations and information on pesticide labels. Reading assistance is not available.
