Full Description

To achieve this 30 credit, Level 6 course you will complete 300 hours of work-based practice (off-site) and 30 hours of guided independent study. You'll access the delivered content of this course fully online. You'll further develop your reflective practice by keeping a live e-portfolio throughout your work and studies.

Work-Based Practice

The work-based practice will consist of actively participating in relevant professional activity, contributing to day-to-day practice of your chosen sphere and generating material relevant to your Professional Practice Portfolio. You will be expected to undertake a significant period of professional practice (minimum 300 hours), in a clinical veterinary physiotherapy setting. This will be supported by formative feedback and mentoring by experienced qualified veterinary physiotherapists. You will develop professional maturity in your chosen sector of the profession, an ability to recognise the requirement for career planning and continuous development, and the impact of such on yourself and/or on the organisation for whom you work.

You will be expected to contribute to your professional portfolio actively and continually.
