Program Overview

The Environmental Sciences major prepares students for careers in environmental problem-solving, with a focus on critical thinking and science-based solutions. The program offers a strong foundation in natural sciences, including calculus, biology, chemistry, and physics, and provides diverse course offerings from both the College of Agricultural and Life Sciences and the College of Letters & Science. Graduates are highly competitive for entry-level positions in nonprofit and private sectors, as well as for master's and doctoral programs in environmental fields.
