Program Overview

The Master of Science (Thesis) in Cartography and Geographic Information Systems program equips students with advanced knowledge and skills in mapping and GIS. The program prepares graduates for careers in government, planning, environmental agencies, non-profits, and private industry. The curriculum includes required courses in cartography, GIS, and geocomputing, as well as program breadth requirements and elective courses.
