Program Overview

The Portuguese M.A. program requires students to submit a research portfolio consisting of three term papers from different curricular areas. The portfolio is reviewed by a committee, and students may include a statement outlining their anticipated doctoral research agenda. The program prepares students for careers in academia or other fields requiring advanced knowledge of Portuguese language and literature.
