Program Overview

The Graduate/Professional Certificate in Russian, East European, and Central Asian Studies (REECAS) provides graduate students with a comprehensive foundation in the interdisciplinary study of the region, enabling them to acquire specialized knowledge and expertise in a specific aspect of the region. The program prepares students for careers in academia, government, journalism, and international organizations, among others. Students develop an advanced understanding of the diverse societies and cultures of the region and their historical, social, political, cultural, and scientific dynamics.
