Family and Consumer Sciences Teacher Education
The Family and Consumer Sciences Teacher Education program at Western Michigan University prepares students to teach family and consumer science curricula at the middle or secondary level. Program Overview
The program is designed to prepare students for their role as classroom teachers and as professionals studying their own teaching practice. Students are required to complete a full-semester internship under the mentorship of selected teachers in schools approved by the University.
