Program Overview

The Sport Coaching Education minor is a 19-20 credit hour program that equips students with the knowledge and skills to coach sports. The program covers topics such as first aid, sports medicine, coaching methods, sport psychology, and strength and conditioning. Students complete a field experience in coaching as part of the program.
