Program Overview

The Certificate of Proficiency in Therapeutic Dance equips students with 27 credit hours of coursework in gerontology, nutrition, health, dance, and psychology. Graduates are prepared for careers as dance movement practitioners in settings such as adolescent residential centers, elderly care facilities, detention centers, and day programs for adults with disabilities.
