Program Overview

The M.A. in TESOL program prepares educators to teach English as a Second Language (ESL) in K-12 schools and higher education. The program provides a comprehensive understanding of second language acquisition theories, teaching methodologies, and assessment techniques. Graduates are eligible for the Michigan Department of Education's ESL endorsement and can pursue careers in ESL teaching, administration, and curriculum development.
