Program Overview

The Accounting Paraprofessional Proficiency Certificate program provides students with the skills and knowledge necessary for entry-level accounting positions. The program includes courses in financial accounting, managerial accounting, microcomputers in accounting, and tax accounting or nonprofit accounting. Graduates of the program are prepared for careers as payroll and timekeeping clerks, bookkeeping, accounting and auditing clerks, and tax preparers.
