Program Overview

The Biomedical Equipment Technology II Proficiency Certificate program equips students with the knowledge and skills to become entry-level Biomedical Equipment Technicians (BMETs). Through hands-on labs, internships, and a focus on troubleshooting and repair, graduates are prepared to work in healthcare settings, maintaining and repairing medical equipment. The program also provides a pathway for students to continue their education towards an Associate of Applied Science degree in Biomedical Equipment Technology.
