Program Overview

Bartending

Whether you’re looking for full-time or part-time work, bartending can be a rewarding and exciting way to develop new skills, and enter a vibrant, growing industry. Our bartending course is designed to give you the skills and confidence you need to get a job working at a bar, anywhere in Australia.

Our courses emphasise hands-on, practical training. Classes are conducted in purpose-built training bars that simulate the real-world working environment. During your training, you will be able to extensively practise making cocktails, using beer lines, pouring and serving drinks, serving customers, and much more. You will also learn about the different types of alcohol, the different ways to prepare cocktails, and the proper etiquette for serving customers.

By the end of our bartending courses, you will be confident in your ability to work behind the bar and provide excellent customer service. To attend our bartending course, you must hold a Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA) certificate, which is the sole requirement for you to be legally authorized to serve alcohol in Victoria. If you do not have a valid RSA, check our course.
