About Program

Program Overview

This program utilizes a variety of assessment methods, including questionnaires, projects, and practical activities, to evaluate learners' knowledge and skills. The program focuses on developing technical writing abilities, analytical thinking, and practical workplace skills through industry-relevant scenarios and role-playing exercises.

Program Outline

Assessment:

Assessments may be conducted through a combination of the following methods:

  • Type A: Underpinning Knowledge Questionnaire
  • Learners are assessed through questioning and testing in some units.
  • These are used to identify the student’s underpinning knowledge in the context of practical tasks. These questions are also used to authenticate assessment tasks submitted by the student.
  • Type B: Project
  • Learners are assessed through written reports in some units.
  • The goal is to ensure the learners possess the technical skills in writing and drafting professional workplace reports.
  • Based on real or fictitious companies, these industry-relevant scenarios require the student to analyze and interpret the case study and answer written questions about it.
  • Type C: Practical
  • Learners are assessed through practical activities in some units.
  • In practical tasks involving simulated industry environments, participants adopt and act out the role of characters or parts that may have personalities, motivations, and backgrounds different from their own. This may include coaching sessions, training sessions, appraisal processes, consultation, meeting participation, and management, etc. (detailed specified in actual unit assessments).
  • Learners are assessed through role-plays in some units, act out or perform the part of a person or character, for example.
  • This may include delivering coaching or training sessions, appraisal processes, consultation, meeting participation, and so on.
