Program Overview

The Postgraduate Diploma in Disaster Risk Management and Development equips graduates to manage disaster risks, build community resilience, and respond to and recover from disasters. The program focuses on socially and culturally appropriate approaches, resilience-building in the face of climate change, and improved building codes and ecosystem protection. It offers a flexible learning model with on-campus block courses and online learning, and is taught by faculty with expertise in disaster risk management and development.
