Program Overview

This program prepares students to become teachers in early childhood education or primary and intermediate schools. Students choose their specialty in the first year and complete specialized courses and practicums in Years 2 and 3. The program includes a focus on Māori culture and language, as well as a Pacific specialty option. Graduates are qualified to teach in Aotearoa New Zealand.
