Entry Requirements
- Minimum Entry Requirements:
- University Entrance or equivalent, including:
- NCEA: 14 credits or more at Level 2 or above (including AS91261 and AS91262)
- NCEA Level 3 in Maths, Stats, or Calculus
- 14 credits or more at NCEA Level 2 or above in Physics
- CIE: A D grade or better in Mathematics and Physics at AS level
- IB: Passes (level 4) in both Mathematics and Physics
- University Entrance or equivalent, including:
- Other Means of Entry:
- Demonstrated competency in mathematics (algebra) and physics at least to Level 2 or equivalent
- Completed or partially completed New Zealand Diploma in Engineering (NZDE) or National Diploma in Engineering (NDE)
- Other recognized certificates or national certificates containing mathematics and physics to the required level
English Language Requirements
- IELTS (Academic): 6.0 overall with all bands 5.5 or higher
