Online Six Sigma Black Belt Certificate
The Online Six Sigma Black Belt Certificate is designed to equip students with the skills to maximize operational efficiency in data-driven organizations. This certificate program is offered by Ohio University and can be completed in as few as three semesters.

Curriculum
The Six Sigma Black Belt curriculum includes basic and advanced Six Sigma techniques, as well as foundational engineering analytics skills. The program consists of 11 credit hours and includes the following courses:
- Principles of Six Sigma: EMGT 6110 (4 credit hours)
- Advanced Six Sigma: EMGT 6111 (3 credit hours)
- Six Sigma Green Belt Exam: EMGT 6112 (0.5 credit hours)
- Six Sigma Black Belt Exam: EMGT 6113 (0.5 credit hours)
- Six Sigma Black Belt Project: EMGT 6114 (3 credit hours)
- Statistics for Engineering Management: EMGT 6100 (4 credit hours)

- Criterion A: Bachelor's degree in an accredited program in engineering, mathematics, or physical sciences; GPA 3.0 or higher (GPA 2.75 acceptable with GRE quantitative reasoning score of 155 or higher)
- Criterion B: Bachelor's degree in an accredited program in business or technology; GPA 3.0 or higher; at least 8 semester credits of mathematics at the calculus level or higher; GRE quantitative reasoning score of 155 or higher
- Criterion C: Bachelor of Science degree in an accredited program from a field not listed above; GPA 3.0 or higher; at least 8 semester credits of mathematics at the calculus level or higher; GRE quantitative reasoning score of 155 or higher; four or more years of technical work experience
