Program Overview

The Adult-Gerontology Acute Care Nurse Practitioner (AG-ACNP) program at the University of Tulsa prepares nurses for advanced practice in acute and critical care settings. The curriculum combines didactic instruction, simulation, and clinical rotations to equip students with the knowledge and skills necessary to provide comprehensive care for patients from adolescence to end of life. Graduates are eligible to sit for board exams and are prepared for roles in various healthcare settings, including critical care units, hospital acute care units, and specialty clinics.
