Program Overview

The Coaching Minor equips students with the knowledge and skills to excel in coaching roles in diverse athletic environments. Through required courses in coaching principles, practical experience, and elective options, students develop a comprehensive understanding of coaching practices, prepare for certification, and gain hands-on experience in the field. This minor prepares graduates for careers as athletic coaches, fitness trainers, physical education teachers, and recreation therapists.
