The combined Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) and Master of Science (M.S.) program in Asian Studies and Accounting offers highly-motivated students the opportunity to complete their undergraduate and graduate degrees in five years of full-time study. You may enroll in four or more approved graduate courses while still working toward your undergraduate degree. These graduate courses count toward both the undergraduate and graduate degree, saving you time and money as you pursue your educational goals. By completing undergraduate requirements during your first four years of study, you are assured of the B.A. degree if for any reason you decide not to complete the M.S. Graduate courses that are applied to the B.A.

In the combined degree program in Asian Studies and Account at St. John’s, you gain knowledge of the language, culture, and history of the Asian world. You also develop specialized knowledge in accounting, taxes, and auditing that enables you to advance in the profession of public accountancy or in managerial positions in industry, government, and not-for-profit organizations. According to the Bureau of Labor Statistics, employment of accountants and auditors is projected to grow six percent through 2028, about as fast as the average for all occupations. With a bachelor’s degree in Asian Studies, you prepare for jobs in the field that require global understanding.
