Program Overview

St. John's University's Master of Arts in English offers a comprehensive understanding of literary, cultural, and writing studies. Through seminar-style courses taught by experienced faculty, students develop critical thinking, analytical, and communication skills for careers in academia, publishing, education, and beyond. The program can be completed in three to four semesters full-time or at a more gradual pace part-time, with the option of a master's thesis.
