Program Overview

The Minor in Africana Studies at the University of Mount Union is an interdisciplinary program that explores the historical, cultural, social, and political legacies of the African diaspora. Students learn through critical study of Africa and the African diaspora, gaining analytical skills for rigorous analysis of black experiences. The program complements careers in social services, education, government, business, and industry.
