Program Overview

The Intervention Specialist major at the University of Mount Union prepares students to teach students with special educational needs. The 36-credit hour program equips students with essential strategies, legal knowledge, and classroom experience to become thoughtful and knowledgeable teachers. Graduates may pursue a teaching license in early childhood or mild/moderate intervention, qualifying them to teach students with special needs in various settings.
