Program Overview

The professional pilot degree prepares students for careers as commercial airline pilots or pilots for corporate or private business. The program combines academic courses with lab courses at the Cape Girardeau Regional Airport, providing hands-on training and preparing students to work with aircraft both on the ground and in the air. Students begin their flight training in their first semester and work closely with experienced faculty and aviation partners. The program aims to provide the training needed to attain FAA certifications and become a professional pilot within commercial aviation.
