Overview
The EPIC College of Technology’s Medical Office Administration Diploma Program is designed to provide students with the professional, interpersonal, and communication skills necessary for efficient operation in a variety of medical office environments.

Student Practicum Placement
As part of the Medical Administration Diploma Program, students will have 180 hours of practical, hands-on experience via a practicum placement. During this placement, students will perform the daily duties of a medical office environment, including:
- Answering calls
- Appointment scheduling
- Patient registration and health record management
- Maintaining inventory of medical and office supplies
- Organizing meetings and conferences
- Administering referrals
- Assisting physicians by taking temperature, measuring blood pressure, and preparing examination rooms

The program consists of 38 weeks of study, with daytime and afternoon/evening options available.
