Program Overview

The MA in TESL/TEFL program prepares candidates to teach English as a second or foreign language. Graduates are qualified to teach subject matter, competent in pedagogy, and culturally responsive to diverse learners. They are also prepared to obtain language instructor positions in various local and global contexts.
