Program Overview

The Electrician: Construction and Maintenance - Electrical Engineering Technician program combines theoretical knowledge in electrical engineering with practical experience through a co-op work placement. It prepares students for careers as electricians, electrical engineers, or technicians in the electrical construction and maintenance industry. The program includes courses in electrical circuits, electrical engineering fundamentals, electrical motors and generators, power systems, and electrical maintenance and troubleshooting. Graduates are qualified to work in various industries, including electrical construction, maintenance, industrial automation, and power generation and distribution.
