Centennial College's Mechanical Engineering Technician – Design program combines theoretical knowledge with practical skills in CAD/CAM. Students engage in project-based learning, developing proficiency in design, manufacturing, and teamwork. The program prepares graduates for careers in design engineering, drafting, manufacturing, and quality control, or further education in engineering.

• Students will acquire theoretical engineering knowledge along with developing proficiency in computer-assisted drafting (CAD) and computer-assisted manufacturing (CAM) skills.
• The program uses a project-based learning approach, where students collaborate in small groups on specific projects, gaining hands-on experience in planning, scheduling, designing, and building as a team.
• Students have the option to continue into a third-year Technology option to specialize in modern manufacturing and production processes.
• The program is accredited by Technology Accreditation Canada.
