Program Overview

The Academic Foundations for Potential Nursing Applicants program at Douglas College is a one-year certificate program that prepares students for entrance into the Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) program. The program provides a strong foundation in the sciences and liberal arts, and helps students develop the skills and knowledge necessary for success in the nursing profession. Upon completion of all required courses with a minimum grade of C+, students will receive priority registration for entrance to the BSN program.
