Program Overview
Fanshawe College's Business Analysis program equips students with the skills and knowledge to become certified business analysts. Aligned with the BABOK and endorsed by the IIBA, the program prepares graduates for the ECBA™, CCBA®, and CBAP® exams. The Business Analysis program at Fanshawe College is a one-year post-graduate program that provides students with the skills and knowledge to become business analysts. The program is aligned with the Business Analysis Body of Knowledge (BABOK) and is endorsed by the International Institute of Business Analysis (IIBA). Graduates of the program are eligible to sit for the IIBA's ECBA™, CCBA®, and CBAP® certification exams.

Program Description:
The Business Analysis program is a full-time program that consists of three semesters. The first semester covers the fundamentals of business analysis, including planning and monitoring, elicitation and collaboration, life cycle management, strategy analysis, requirements analysis and design definition, and solution evaluation. The second semester covers methods for business analysis, including quantitative and qualitative methods for planning, elicitation, collaboration, internal and external stakeholder management, data analysis, regulatory management, strategy and requirements analysis, and solution evaluation. The third semester covers perspectives for business analysis, including business process management, business architecture, business intelligence, agile, and information technology perspectives. Students also complete a co-op work term during the third semester.
