Program Overview

The Mechanical Engineering Technician - Tool and Die (Co-op) program is a two-year Ontario College Diploma that prepares students for careers in the tooling industry. The program emphasizes conventional machining skills and aligns with the Level One curriculum standards of the Precision Metal Cutting – Common Core Apprenticeship program. Graduates can pursue apprenticeships in various fields, including tool and die making, general machinist, and CNC operator. The program also includes two paid co-op placements for students to gain practical experience.
