The Architectural Technology program at LWTech prepares students for careers supporting architects in design and technical teams. - Overview: The Architectural Technology program at Lake Washington Institute of Technology (LWTech), under the School of Design & Applied Arts, prepares students for careers supporting architects at local firms in areas such as Seattle and Bellevue.
- Objectives: The program aims to develop students' skills in design and technical aspects to participate effectively in design and technical teams within the architecture industry.
- Description: Students learn the architectural design process, fostering a growth mindset and problem-solving abilities. The Associate of Applied Science Transfer (AAS-T) degree is designed for students to transfer to Washington State University to pursue a Bachelor of Science in Architectural Studies and potentially a Master of Architecture in one additional year.
