Program Overview

The Sewing program at Lake Washington Institute of Technology (LWTech) equips students with the skills to create textile-based items independently. Students learn machine and tool usage, textile properties, and assembly techniques. The program offers a Certificate of Completion with pathways in quilting or garment construction, preparing graduates for careers in dressmaking, costuming, and other textile-related fields.
