Program Overview

The Accounting program at Lake Land College prepares students for entry-level accounting positions through a two-year degree or one-year certificate option. Core coursework includes financial, managerial, tax, and cost accounting, along with hands-on training in accounting software. Graduates qualify for various accounting roles, including general accountant, accounts receivable clerk, and payroll accountant. The program also offers an internship component for practical work experience and a 2+2 pathway to a bachelor's degree in Organizational and Professional Development.
