Industrial Electrician Apprenticeship Program

Program Overview

The Industrial Electrician Apprenticeship program at Madison College prepares students for careers in industrial settings, including manufacturing, power plants, and construction. Graduates are equipped to maintain and repair electrical equipment, install new systems, and troubleshoot electrical problems. They are also prepared for leadership roles in the electrical industry. The program includes courses in DC and AC theory, controls, PLCs, engineering drawings, safety, fluid power, and electrical codes.

• Interpreting Engineering Drawings Part A (1 credit)
• Intermediate PLCs for Industrial Electricians (1 credit)

Fourth Semester

• Fluid Power 1 for Industry (1 credit)

Fifth Semester

• Codes for Industrial Electricians 1: Introduction to the NEC (1 credit)
• Codes for Industrial Electricians 2: OCPD and Electrical Device Installations (1 credit)
• Advanced PLCs for Industrial Electricians (1 credit)

Sixth Semester
