Why Study Film and Media Production at MMC?

Where better to develop your skills as an artist than in the production capital of the world? Divide your time between our studio classrooms with experienced faculty and New York City as your personal set. Our accomplished faculty go beyond simply teaching the tools of production and actually immerse you in the culture of the industry itself.

What You Will Learn

  • Courses such as Video Field Production, Digital Sound Workshop, and New Media Techniques empower students to create compelling projects using a wide variety of skills and techniques.
  • Make your skillset panoramic: Gain critical preparation in classes such as TV Studio Production, Intro to Lighting Design, and Video Postproduction for an industry in which a range of skills aren’t only useful, but necessary.
  • Courses such as Podcasting, Video Postproduction, Producing for Creative Media, and our two-semester senior capstone allows you to both branch out and zero in on subject matter and technique.
