Why Study Media and Arts Management?
Take in performances, meet with company directors, and complete challenging internships at organizations ranging from the small and experimental to iconic Broadway theatres. In the Media and Arts Management concentration, you’ll build a strong business foundation, and outside of the classroom, you’ll learn through experience what it takes to keep the arts alive.

Our location in the international cultural hub that is New York City, gives you the perfect backdrop to explore art, theatre, music, or dance while applying business principles. Our students have interned at Broadway theatres and art institutions. Graduates from MMC’s Media and Arts Management program have obtained positions in storied corporations such as Viacom CBS, NBC Universal, and Sony MusicCorp., or have gone on to set up and manage their own music bands and private ventures.
What You Will Learn
- You’ll learn foundational principles and skills across business disciplines, including: Accounting, Marketing, Organizational Behavior, Strategic Management, Information Technology
- As a Business BA student with a concentration in Media and Arts Management, you’ll graduate with: critical thinking skills, problem-solving creativity, cultural awareness, and a global perspective.
- You’ll explore topics of interest in-depth in media and arts management: Fundraising and Marketing for the Arts, Digital Marketing, Business and the Visual Arts, Visual Merchandising, The Business of Music, The Business of Broadway, History & Mission of Arts Institutions

Faculty-Led Travel Courses
Business is international. So why shouldn’t your education be? Learn firsthand how a global supply chain can affect another part of the globe. Faculty-led travel courses are short-term study abroad opportunities. Students in our Global Fashion Business course have visited London and Paris, two of the world’s fashion capitals.
