Bachelor of Dental Science

The Bachelor of Dental Science is a five-year undergraduate program that qualifies students for registration as a dental practitioner in all Australian states and territories. Developed in cooperation with the Australian Dental Council, the Australian Dental Association, local dentists, oral health practitioners, and senior consultants, this course is based at the Orange campus of Charles Sturt University.

Entry Requirements

• Selection Rank: To be announced.
• Academic Entry Requirements:
  • All domestic applicants apply through UAC.
  • At least 50% of places are for applicants with a significant rural background or who are First Nations applicants.
  • Interviews are held in late November/early December.
• Rural Entry Pathway:
  • Submit a Rural and Indigenous Pathway form.
  • Complete the University Clinical Aptitude Test (UCAT).
• General Admission Pathway:
  • Complete the UCAT.
• First Nations Pathway:
  • Submit a Rural and Indigenous Pathway form.
  • Culturally appropriate panel interview.
• International Pathway:
  • Apply direct to the university or through an agent.
  • Selected based on previous academic performance.
