Costs

  • If eligible for a Commonwealth supported place, the fee is $TBA for 1 year full-time equivalent.
  • For fee-paying students, the subject fee is $TBA per 8 points.
• Payment Options:
  1. Pay all of your student contribution up front direct to the university.
  2. Pay part of your student contribution to the university and defer the balance via a HECS-HELP loan.
  3. Defer all of your student contribution via a HECS-HELP loan.

Entry Requirements

• Selection Rank: 65
• Academic Entry Requirements:
  • A completed High School Certificate with a minimum ATAR or equivalent.
  • A completed Special Tertiary Admissions Test (STAT) with an equivalent ranking.
  • Successful completion of two University level subjects demonstrating a reasonable prospect of success through Grade Point Average (GPA).
  • A completed AQF Certificate III or higher level qualification.
  • 50% completion of an AQF Diploma level qualification.
  • A completed Tertiary Preparation Course from an Australian University or an accredited provider.
  • A minimum of three years relevant work experience AND documentary evidence of motivation to undertake university study in equine science.
• Vaccination Requirements: Students must be vaccinated against Q Fever and Tetanus before commencing study on campus or workplace learning.
• Language Requirements: Standard English Language Proficiency (ELP) requirements apply.
• Inherent Requirements: Inherent requirements are the academic and other requirements of a course that all students must meet to achieve the course learning outcomes.
