What You Will Study

The course consists of fourteen core subjects, one restricted elective, a major of eight subjects, and five unrestricted electives or a minor sequence. Students can choose from majors in:

Entry Requirements

  • Selection rank: 55
  • Academic entry requirements:
    • A completed High School Certificate (or equivalent) with the minimum ATAR required (including adjustment factors)
    • Completion of the HSC (or equivalent) with strong performance in subjects in the Information Technology area
    • Successful completion of at least two appropriate standard IT university-level subjects
    • IT related professional certifications
    • Two years relevant professional IT work experience
    • A completed AQF Certificate III in Information Technology or a completed AQF Certificate III in an area related to Information Technology
    • Special Tertiary Admissions Test (STAT) with an equivalent ranking to the currently listed ATAR
