Program Overview

The Intermediate Culinary Arts Certificate of Achievement program at College of the Desert equips students with intermediate-level cooking and baking skills, Garde Manger banquet preparation knowledge, and a comprehensive understanding of hotel and restaurant operations. Graduates are prepared for first-line supervisory roles in the food service and lodging industries, including positions such as sous chef, banquet chef, and restaurant manager.
