Graduate Certificate in Islamic Psychology

The Graduate Certificate in Islamic Psychology at Charles Sturt University is the first degree of its kind in Australia. This course allows students to investigate the intersection of several disciplines: psychology of religion, spirituality, counselling, and Islam. Students will explore novel connections between these disciplines to formulate a holistic understanding of the psychology of the Muslim experience and mental health among Muslims.

What You Will Study

  • For each 8-point subject, students should expect to spend 10 to 12 hours per week working on assignments and assigned readings
  • The course includes an intensive school for certain subjects

      • ISL402: Islamic Psychology: Human Behaviour and Experience
