The Graduate Certificate in Organisational Coaching and Leadership is designed to provide a theoretical and practical grounding in organisational coaching and leadership. It gives organisational coaches a rigorous coaching methodology that can be used to implement high-performance coaching at all levels of organisations. As a graduate, you'll be well-positioned to take on greater leadership responsibilities and address contemporary coaching and leadership challenges - whether in corporate, government, small business or not-for-profit roles.
What You Will Study
For each 8-point subject you are enrolled in, you should expect to spend 10 to 12 hours per week working on assignments and assigned readings, tutorial assistance, individual or group research/study, forum activity, workplace learning, and attending lectures, intensive schools, or examinations. If you are studying four subjects per session, this is equivalent to a full-time job. The workload for some subjects may vary as a result of approved course design.
Essential Set (32 pts)
- Core subjects 16 Credit Points: Credit only; based on completion of IECL Organisational Coaching Level 1 Certification and completion of IECL Organisational Coaching Level 2 Certification.
- Restricted elective 16 Credit Points: Select two (2) subjects from the following:
- MGM501: Theory to Practice of Leadership
- MGT549: Toxic Leadership
- MGT559: Contemporary Issues in Leadership
- MGT568: Difference and Leadership
- MGT569: The Leadership Challenge
- MGT584: Leadership in Teams

- Academic entry requirements: Applicants are required to have relevant professional attainment/work experience PLUS an undergraduate degree from a recognised Australian tertiary institution (or equivalent) and/or enrolment in/completion of relevant IECL subjects. Applicants may also be considered on the basis of relevant professional attainment and/or work experience alone.
- Language requirements: Standard English Language Proficiency (ELP) requirements apply.
