Program Overview

The Basic Fire Fighter Certificate of Achievement equips individuals with the knowledge and skills to perform essential fire ground tasks, including basic rescue operations, auto extrication, fire suppression, and prevention. The program consists of two required courses and is offered in both full-time and part-time formats. Upon completion, graduates are eligible for certification as California Fire Fighter I with IFSAC/ProBoard accreditation, preparing them for entry-level positions in the fire service.
