Program Overview

The Home Health Aide program prepares students to provide routine care and assistance to clients in their homes, including personal care, meal preparation, and light housekeeping. The program requires 27 hours of classroom instruction and 27 hours of supervised clinical experience. Students must be certified as nursing assistants in California to enroll. Successful completion of the program qualifies students to take the state-approved tests for Home Health Aide certification.
