Program Overview

The Physical Therapist Assistant program prepares students to work under the direction of physical therapists, implementing treatment plans for patients with physical impairments. The program includes coursework in therapeutic exercise, orthopedic and neurological interventions, therapeutic modalities, and patient care. Students also study basic sciences and complete clinical education experiences throughout the curriculum. The program can be completed in two years.
