Program Overview

The Associate of Science in Alcohol and Drug Studies at College of the Desert prepares students for entry-level positions as supervised chemical dependency counselors. The program includes 39 units of required coursework, 6 units of electives, and 18 units of general education. Graduates may also pursue further education in psychology or social work.
